August 21, 2009 nControl approved as a Member Organization of IHE International. Newswire: August 21, 2009 - Philadelphia, PA - nControl has been approved as a Member Organization of IHE International. IHE, which stands for Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise, is an initiative by healthcare professionals and industry to improve the way computer systems in healthcare share information. Systems developed in accordance with IHE communicate with one another better, are easier to implement, and enable care providers to use information more effectively. Existing members include IBM, Microsoft, and Siemens. nControl's Founder/Principal and Magellan Group member Steve Markey had this to say about the IHE: "the members of the IHE are working to improve information sharing within the Healthcare industry, and with Healthcare being on the forefront of everyone's mind these day's what can be more important?".
