February 3, 2010 Jack Sweeney, Partner at Advanced Surgical / Jeanne Mikalauskas, LLC joins The Magellan Group Mr. Sweeney is a talented business developer, entrepreneur, public speaker and mentor. He has spent most of his professional career helping employers manage their human capital needs through the design, implementation and management of their employee benefit programs and providing consulting advice in the areas of securing, retaining and maximizing top talent. He has also excelled at developing new business, mentoring new business developers, creating new products and services, and establishing and expanding sales distribution channels. He has been featured in a weekly one-hour live call-in radio show on Philadelphias largest talk radio station and has often served as a guest presenter at corporate sales meetings and training events. He is currently a partner with Advanced Surgical/Jeanne Mikalauskas, LLC, a family-owned manufacturers representative, selling and servicing orthopedic implants and joint replacements (i.e. knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, wrist, ankle, etc.). He also serves on the Human Resources Committee of Philabundance, a nonprofit organization that works to end hunger and malnutrition in the Delaware Valley. His past community involvement included serving as a Board member and Volunteer Instructor with Junior Achievement, the worlds largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy. He was also a volunteer with Special Olympics. Mr. Sweeney is a member of The Magellan Group, the Union League of Philadelphia and The Springhaven Club in Wallingford, PA. He is an accomplished golfer, a long-time Philadelphia Eagles season ticketholder and an avid sports enthusiast. Specialties: Mr. Sweeney's expertise lies in his relationship management, business development, strategic consulting, and creativity.
