Founders Land Transfer Inc. Land Title Insurance  Timothy Cox - President of Founders Land Transfer, Inc. a leading title insurance provider based in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania.
Following graduation from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 1996, Tim began his professional career as a business management consultant for a regional medical practice brokerage firm by providing and preparing medical practices business enhancement models for improved valuations. Tim was able to successfully build a working benchmark model and, through the advice and guidance of the US. State Dept. and U.S. Treasury Dept. was able to successfully launch his employer's services internationally. During the late 1990's, citing Tim's experience and success in both business management & development, Tim was recruited by several multinational technology firms. Tim spent 5 years with Winstar Communications, Inc. working in Philadelphia, New York City and culminating in Washington, D.C. as a Director of Sales and Business Development for Winstar's Alternate Channel Division responsible for the Winstar's high-profile Mid-Atlantic Region. While at Winstar, Tim was the recipient of many national awards including both President's Club and Inner Circle awards. In late 2002, after returning to Philadelphia, Tim maintained an upper level management position with a regional Verizon reseller building a new alternative sales channel. In 2004, after years of success in the communications/technology sector, Tim decided a new challenge was in order and ultimately "retired" from the communications/technology industry to pursue a career building an investment portfolio in commercial real estate. Tim began practicing commercial real estate with an area brokerage firm. While practicing, one of the most respected title insurance underwriters in the industry proposed that he combine his extensive business development and management skills with his understanding and success in the commercial real estate market. After reviewing a business plan matched with several financial models, and following extensive title training provided by the underwriter's staff, receiving both certifications & and licensure, Tim successfully launched Founders Land Transfer, Inc. in October of 2005. To date, Founders Land Transfer, Inc. has become one of the fastest growing and most respected title insurance providers in the area and has successfully insured nearly $1B worth of both commercial and residential real estate transactions. Tim has also serves his industry by working with several members of the U.S. Congress and PA General Assembly, as well as, testifying in front of the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance and Pennsylvania Attorney General regarding the health of the land title industry and its impact on the health of the financial industry. Tim has been published by the BBC, CNN, and various other media outlets on matters of business, economy, and public affairs. Tim also is active politically, socially and with various other local organizations and enjoys being an active outdoor sportsman and sporting enthusiast.
